Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-29 · effective 29 October 2026
Operated by Tricellix OÜ, registry code 17608898, Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Harju Maakond, Estonia, Estonia.
These Terms govern your use of the Tricellix website, the Intel Map, Insights, Intelligence Reports (public editions, commissioned reports and advisory services), the Human Intelligence Profile, Business Opportunity Intelligence dossiers, and the courses (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account, starting a free assessment, or completing a purchase you accept them. If you use the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
1. Who we are
The Platform is operated by Tricellix OÜ ("Tricellix", "we"). Contact: contact@tricellix.com. Where a product is fulfilled by invoice, the invoice names the contracting entity and its bank details.
2. Accounts and anonymous sessions
You may browse most of the Platform without an account. The free assessment starts in an anonymous session protected by a bot check; adding your email converts that session into an account and keeps your results. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for everything done under your account. One person per account; team access is sold separately.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, that is used to attack or scrape the Platform, or that we are required to close by law or by a payment provider.
3. What you are buying
- Intel Map subscriptions (Investors, Security Analyst, Analyst, All lenses; Enterprise by invoice): a monthly licence to view the subscribed lenses, nation-profile values and data payloads for the paid period; renews until cancelled; usage caps and data limits apply per plan.
- Human Intelligence Profile tiers (Deep Profile, CAA Report, TSF Report): one-time purchases that unlock instruments, scoring and generated reports for your account. Results are generated for you personally.
- Courses: a one-time licence to access the course modules and to earn a certificate of completion. Certificates are issued in your name and are publicly verifiable by their number.
- Report editions and Business Opportunity Intelligence dossiers: one-time purchases of generated reports on public subjects, delivered as downloadable PDFs to your account.
- Commissioned intelligence reports and advisory services: engagements scoped in a proposal, governed by the Engagement Terms and, where indicated, a Non-Disclosure Agreement, in addition to these Terms.
Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude any VAT or sales tax that applies to you; tax is added at checkout or on the invoice where we are required to charge it. Prices may change; the price shown when you buy is the price you pay.
4. Payment, invoices and access
Intel Map plans, Human Intelligence Profile tiers, courses and Opportunity Dossiers are paid by card through our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as merchant of record for those purchases: Paddle collects the payment and any applicable VAT or sales tax, and its buyer terms apply to the transaction alongside these Terms. Library reports are paid by bank transfer; commissioned reports, Government and Team purchases are invoiced. When you pay by transfer or invoice, access is activated when the payment clears; until then the order shows as pending in your account. Card subscriptions renew automatically on each billing date; invoiced subscriptions run for the paid month and continue when the next invoice is paid. You can cancel at any time by emailing contact@tricellix.com and keep access until the end of the paid period.
Coupons apply only to the products they name, cannot be combined unless stated, and are void where prohibited. We may cancel an order and refund it in full if we cannot verify a payment, if a price was displayed in error, or if the purchase breaches these Terms.
5. Acceptable use
- Use the Platform only for lawful analysis, research, education and decision support.
- Do not scrape, mirror, bulk-download or resell Platform data or reports; do not circumvent gating, rate limits or the bot check; do not probe or attack the service.
- Do not use the Human Intelligence Profile to assess another person without their knowledge and consent, or as the sole basis for an employment, credit, insurance, housing or similar decision about anyone.
- Do not upload content you have no right to share, or content that is unlawful, defamatory or that identifies a private individual as a subject of intelligence work.
- Do not use outputs to plan, facilitate or commit violence, harassment, fraud or any activity that is unlawful where you are.
6. Intellectual property and licence to you
The Platform, the Tricellix System Framework, the scoring models, report structures, datasets we compile, and all text and code are owned by Tricellix or its licensors. When you buy a report, dossier, profile or course you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it inside your organisation for its intended purpose. You may quote short excerpts with attribution. You may not publish, resell, sublicense or share a purchased report outside your organisation, or train machine-learning systems on it, without our written consent. Commissioned reports may carry additional rights set out in the proposal.
Third-party data shown on the Intel Map is subject to its own licences, listed on the Map Sources page; you must respect those licences when you export data.
7. Intelligence products are analysis, not advice
Our reports, map layers, scores and dossiers are analytical products built from open sources and models, at an explicit confidence level, with documented data gaps. They are not legal, financial, investment, medical, security or professional advice, and they do not replace your own due diligence. Scores describe systems as we observe them and can change as data changes. You decide what to do with them and you bear the consequences of your decisions.
Assessments of named organisations are produced on commission only, for the client that commissions them, and are not published.
8. Human Intelligence Profile — special terms
The profile instruments are psychometric questionnaires and cognitive tasks. Results are indicative, are not a clinical or diagnostic assessment, and are not medical or psychological advice. Some scales are labelled as theoretical bands until our own norms exist. Narrative sections are generated with the help of a large language model from your answers and scores; they can be wrong and should be read as a structured reflection, not a verdict. If any part of an assessment causes you distress, stop and consult a qualified professional.
You confirm you are at least 18 years old when you start an assessment.
9. Generated content and AI
Parts of the Platform — report narratives, dossier commentary, profile syntheses, insight drafts — are produced by large language models under our prompts and quality checks, from data we supply. We disclose where a section is model-generated, we cite the numbers a narrative was written from, and we do not present generated text as the statement of a named person. Generated content can contain errors; report anything wrong to us and we will correct or withdraw it.
10. Availability, changes and support
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, layers or data sources, and we may put the Platform into maintenance mode. If a paid feature is permanently withdrawn during your paid period we will refund the unused portion. Support is by email; response targets are published on the Contact page.
11. Warranties and liability
Except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by law, the Platform and its products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tricellix is not liable for indirect, consequential, special or punitive loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, or for decisions taken on the basis of Platform content. Our total liability to you for all claims arising from the Platform in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, or one hundred US dollars if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you keep the statutory rights that apply to you; these Terms do not reduce them.
12. Indemnity
If you use the Platform in breach of these Terms and a third party brings a claim against Tricellix as a result, you will defend and indemnify Tricellix against that claim and the reasonable costs of dealing with it.
13. Termination
You may close your account at any time by emailing contact@tricellix.com from the address on the account; we confirm the closure in writing. Closing an account ends subscriptions at the end of the current period and removes access to purchased content after any refund window; see the Privacy Policy for what is retained and for how long. We may terminate for breach with notice where practicable, and immediately where the breach is serious or the law requires it.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes that cannot be resolved by discussion within thirty days may be brought before Harju County Court, Tallinn, Estonia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection forum that applies to you. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version number and effective date at the top change when we do, and every purchase records the version you accepted. Material changes to a running subscription are announced by email at least fourteen days before they take effect; continuing to use the Platform after that date is acceptance.
